Alleluia, Alleluia! Christ has risen! And we are risen with him. Christ lived to give us life and he died to give us life everlasting. He gave us an example of how to live - to walk in love shown to all people and to be in conversation with them always remembering that each and every one was made in the image of God. Remember the Syro-Phonecian woman who Jesus first referred to 'dog'. But Jesus was willing to hang in there and listen to what she had to say and to recognize and accept that she also had faith. And the disciples on the road to Emmaus were distressed over the events of the past few days. They were so absorbed in their own problems and concerns that they couldn't see the light in front of them. But they were willing to listen and be in conversation and they recognized Jesus in the end. I would pray that all of us might be open to the new thing that God is doing in our midst - resurrection for all.
